My Town

Colleferro is a town in the province of Rome, situated in the centre of Italy; in Colleferro live about twenty-five thousand people.

It’s a young town because it was founded about seventy years ago. From Colleferro is very easy to arrive in Rome thanks to motorway and railway.

It’s an industrial town and there are some important factories and so one of most important problems in Colleferro is pollution.

Colleferro has a lot of services and facilities: there are many types of school, from the kindergarten to the high schools; there is a hospital and a lot of medical services.

You can practice many sports: there are two swimming-pools, a sports centre, some gyms, a rugby pitch and some soccer pitches and tennis courts. If you want to watch a film, there is a cinema too.

I like Colleferro very much because I have lived here since my birth . It’s in a strategic position near Rome and all necessary services make it a very good town.

Recently, its aspect has become better with some public gardens, flower beds and water fountains.
